Taichung LaLaport Muji-Muyu Plaza
Sustainable Play for Children and Families
In line with its commitment to contributing to local communities, MUJI opened a new large-scale flagship store in Taichung in 2023, spanning over 500 square meters. Beyond offering a comprehensive selection of apparel, furniture, and daily necessities, the store features a range of flagship-exclusive products and services. Designed as a welcoming space for interaction, the store encourages connections not only between people and products, but also among people themselves.
A highlight of the store is the “Wooden Education Plaza,” created in collaboration with PlayMe. Working closely with local manufacturers, MUJI curated a collection of high-quality wooden toys and designed a dedicated play and learning area for visitors. This thoughtfully crafted space offers guests a chance to relax, play, and experience the warmth, creativity, and educational value of wooden craftsmanship.
